Mariah Carey sent her interior designer to buy Michael Jackson's sofa at a Las Vegas auction house but her he decided not to buy.

The sofa set which was estimated to sell for over $1m actually fetched $160,000. The sofa sold for $120,000 and the chairs $40,000.
